DAP Release Notes: 04/24/2025

New Features and Enhancements on DAP

  • Film To Glass eligibility Tool: The tool interactively analyzes the provided parameters such as Glass Type, Glass strength, Altitude etc. and displays film results along with their detailed specifications. Additionally, it facilitates dealers in sharing eligible film types of results with end customers, streamlining the bidding -+process and enhancing efficiency.

  • Settings > Location page Optimization:
    • Items:
      • Allows Item availability at the location level.
      • Any Overrides such as Item prices, item availability per customer, Item availability per work order type, everything can be set-up at the location page.
    • Work Order Type: Users can now add customized Workorder types at the location level and configure fields validation for the Work Order. For example if certain Workorder type is configured to have VIN as required then users from that location must provide VIN when creating the work order.
    • Items: Removed the functionality to add overrides and item availability for customer and location. This section will be used to add Manage items, it’s default commission and Default Pricing.
  • Work Order Enhancements:
    • Add Multiple items in Work order: This enhancement now allows users to add multiple line items at the same.
    • Customer Search: with this enhancement user should be able to select a specific customer from their search. Users can search the customers via Name, Email ID and phone number.
    • Work Order Dashboard: Parking location is added as an additional column.
  • Warranties Enhancements:
    • Ceramic Coating Coverages are linked to their corresponding product types. For example, when the 'Glass' coverage is selected, the product field will only display 'Glass' coating as an eligible product type.

    • Auto Warranties product dropdown is now displayed in alphabetic order.
    • Product expirations are updated to their correct expiration dates.
    • Button alignment: Done (renamed from Exit) and Print Warranty buttons are now aligned on the right for better user experience.
    • Button Rename: Claim and Return buttons are renamed to 
      Warranty Claim Used/Opened Products” and “Returns Unused/Unopened Products” respectively.
  • Customer Page
    • Customer details Breadcrumb: System now Displays Customer Name in breadcrumb instead of Customer Id

    • Items: read only view of the Items allocation for the customer by
      location.
  • Grids UI optimization
    • Grid Improvements: All scrollable grids now automatically adjust row heights to fit the content, ensuring you only see what's necessary. The font size for grid text is adjusted for better user experience.
    • Filter Row: The filter row has been streamlined with tighter spacing and smaller font size, taking up less space.
    • Breadcrumbs: Breadcrumbs are now visible at the grid toolbar level when a search input is present. They no longer display the parent path item already highlighted in the top menu (e.g., "Customers/Warranties" will just show "Warranties").
    • Content Padding: Adjusted the main content padding on the sides of the page, allowing more data to be visible on the page.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the issue Setting > Labor Profile -> Unable to edit "Include Difficulty Price" When field is not checked at the time of creation
  • Fixed the issue on the Part Revision page where it was only showing 25 records and did not allow to select 50 or 100 records
  • Fixed the bug for Setting > Location page where country field was not behaving as required field.
  • Fixed the issue when changing password at Settings/Users level.
  • Fixed the issue where export feature at Customer > Deals page only exported 100 items.
